Bodycam movie shows minute officer strike, dragged by Henry County fugitive

All of it happened soon after a schedule targeted traffic cease alerted an officer to an arrest warrant outside of metro Atlanta.

Recently released bodycam footage from Barnesville Law enforcement Section displays the moments a needed Henry County fugitive hit and dragged a central Georgia law enforcement officer next a regime website traffic end.

Sgt. Rainer of Barnesville PD produced a plan site visitors stop on Caleb Hoover Saturday evening, but once understanding he experienced warrants for his arrest in metro Atlanta, the officer requested him to action out of the automobile and attempted to detain him.

While in the bodycam footage obtained by 11Alive, the video clip displays the Hoover move outside of his vehicle and set his arms guiding his again. As Sgt. Rainer reaches for his handcuffs, Hoover proceeds to evade the officer’s attempt at detaining him and jumps again from the car or truck.

Immediately after what appears being a short wrestle by Sgt. Rainer to try and remove Hoover in the vehicle, the officer is briefly dragged from the vehicle because the tires loudly screech ahead of he falls to your floor.

As Sgt. Rainer is dragged all the way down to the pavement, he shouts, “(Expletive)! I’m great, go!” as he receives back again up off the floor letting another officer know to go after Hoover in his Motor vehicle.

Barnesville PD claimed Hoover “jumped back in his vehicle, dragging Sgt. Rainer a brief length triggering small accidents,” according to some social media marketing article.

Hoover’s motor vehicle was later identified deserted on Turner Bridge Street in the metropolis and was towed away.

He’s called a 6-foot-2 white guy weighing 210 kilos. In the time of your incident, he was wearing a blue and white plaid shirt.
